We have implemented a rudimentary chat system. It is scoped per game, and can be found in the bottom button zone, as shown in the following screen shot.
The chat system is rudimentary because it does not save chats. These are fire-and-forget broadcast messages and you will receive all chat messages that you have since joining the game, but none before them. Chat persistence will be a value-add functionality for the future.
The 2nd major functionality release is the pruning of users on theConstantadon (i.e. the main game). Previously, every person who was attached stayed attached so long as one active user remained on the game. We now prune according to the following:
disconnected un-registered non-scorers are removed after 8 minutes
disconnected registered scorers are removed after 3 days
disconnected un-registered scorers are removed after 2 days
connected anyone will remain on the game
There is not (yet) a semantic distinguishing inactive from active (i.e. connected but without contribution). This will be forthcoming.
