Since wordadoplicus.com is changing rapidly, you will always have to do the hardest refresh to get the newest UI (until I learn how to properly version my assets and/or set more sane expiry headers).
Unfortunately, even the traditional shift-Reload which has always been called the hard refresh is not hard enough. Here is a trick that works with Chrome that can perform the hardest of the refreshes.
- First, you will need to go to wordadoplicus.com, as in the following screenshot:
- Second, you will need to open the Developer Tools (either View -> Developer -> Developer Tools)
- Once developer tools are open, you can hold down shift and click on the reload button. You will magically see three options (these options are only available to you because you have the developer tools open):
- Select "Empty Cache and Hard Reload" -- This is the hardest of the hard reloads.
This is not actually THAT hard, because it keeps your cookies and allows you to stay logged in, but it does make sure that all downloaded resources are pulled down fresh in a way that even Shift-Command-Reload does not.
